Health Savings Accounts offer a unique opportunity to provide more cost effective health coverage. This program can lower taxes by allowing a 100% “above the line” tax deduction when paying for out-of-pocket medical, dental or vision expenses. It also rewards prudent people, who use their health plan wisely, with the chance to use the money in a HSA for retirement or to help pay for long-term care.

For Employees or dependents with extensive medical or prescription bills, the HSA has a much lower out of pocket expense compared to traditional PPO plans. Best of all anyone under age 65 can fully participate in this program; including those with high incomes.

Health Reimbursement Arrangements can allow you to cover your employee’s medical bills with cash in areas where it is much cheaper than having the insurance company pay. It also allows employees to take unused health plan benefits and carry them over from one year to the next.

After a year or so of coverage, if a major hospital stay occurs, employees who save up their unused health benefits will spend less money out of their pocket for treatment than with typical health insurance plans. Minimum Premium Group Medical Plans
Traditional PPO Medical Plans can include co-pays, HSA and HRA Plans. If your claims are average to lower than most insurance groups, it will reward the Employer with a return of some of the insurance premiums at the end of the policy year.
